He is author of several articles in international journals and maintains a practice limited to oral surgery and implant dentistry in Salerno, Italy. Following extraction of the central incisor and granulation tissue removal, the bone defect was treated by Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR). After autologous bone chips were harvested from the adjacent site, Jason\u00ae membrane was applied and fixated at the buccal bone using titanium pins. Autologous bone was applied to the bone defect followed by a layer of small cerabone\u00ae granules. Jason\u00ae membrane was placed over the bone graft, pinned crestally and tightly adapted in a \u2018sausage technique\u2019-like manner.
