A 69-year-old female patient presented with a pronounced bucco-lingual ridge collapse and an insufficient band of keratinized mucosa. After bone augmentation with cerabone\u00ae<\/sup><\/span> +HyA<\/a>, three implants were placed six months later. To enhance peri-implant soft tissue quality, a second-stage procedure was performed using mucoderm\u00ae<\/sup><\/span>,<\/a> stabilized with a 7 mm NOVAMag\u00ae<\/sup><\/span><\/a> S fixation screw<\/a> to ensure optimal adaptation and stability. Primary closure was achieved using reinforced e-PTFE sutures. At three months, clinical evaluation and STL imaging confirmed a wider band of keratinized mucosa, improved vestibular depth, and more than 1 mm of vertical and horizontal soft tissue gain.<\/p>\n

At seven months, prior to final crown delivery, the site demonstrated a thickened band of keratinized mucosa, an adequate ridge height, and clear enhancements in both aesthetics and function. A significant improvement in soft tissue architecture, along with stable implant integration, was observed. In this case, the successful application of the NOVAMag\u00ae<\/sup><\/span> fixation screws<\/a> in combination with a acellular dermal matrix was demonstrated. As an alternative to conventional sutures, NOVAMag\u00ae<\/sup><\/span> fixation screws<\/a> can stabilize soft tissue grafts without relying on periosteal fixation, reducing graft compression and movement. This allows consistent matrix positioning and supports the option of combining soft tissue augmentation with implant placement.<\/p>\n<\/div>
