[Epub ahead of print]. doi: 10.1111\/jerd.12547.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/31762155\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/31762155<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Aim:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nEvaluation of mucoderm\u00ae and connective tissue graft (CTG) \u00a0in the treatment of multiple Miller class I and II recessions using the modified-coronally advanced flap (M-CAF) in a split-mouth design.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Materials\/Methods:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n12 patients with bilateral Miller I and II recessions were treated with mucoderm\u00ae on one side and CTG on the other side. Both tissue grafts were combined with the M-CAF to treat a total of 82 recessions. Clinical parameters, such as PD, RD, RW, KTW, CAL, CRC, PRC were analysed 6 and 18 months postoperatively.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Results:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nMost of the analysed parameters showed no significant differences between mucoderm\u00ae and CTG. At 6 months, a significant difference was found for KTW, which was higher for CTG. Positive changes were found for both regarding CAL, RD, RW. Also the percentage of complete root coverage was not significantly different between mucoderm\u00ae and CTG.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Conclusion:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nBoth tested tissues in combination with the M-CAF were highly effective to treat multiple gingival recessions of Miller class I and II. mucoderm\u00ae proofed to be a valid alternative to the autologous connective tissue graft during an observation period of 18 months.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">\u00d6nder G\u00fcrlek<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>G\u00fcrlek et al. 2019.
