Following flap elevation, guided pilot drilling is performed in preparation for implant- and ring placement. After trephine drilling, the bone bed is flattened using the planator. The bone ring (maxgraft\u00ae bone ring) is cut to size, applied to the recipient site and subsequently fixated by insertion of the implant. Sharp edges are removed using diamond bur. The bone ring is covered by small cerabone\u00ae granules.
