Following the extraction of a tooth, bone augmentation was required to facilitate optimal healing and prevent bone resorption. The site was carefully prepared to ensure a clean and stable environment for guided bone regeneration. To support bone regeneration and maintain the socket\u2019s structure, NOVAMag\u00ae <\/sup>SHIELD<\/a> was selected. This resorbable magnesium-based Shield provided a protective barrier, preventing soft tissue ingrowth while promoting new bone formation.<\/p>\n

NOVAMag\u00ae<\/sup> SHIELD<\/a> was tucked in between the soft tissue and bone without fixation. To promote effective bone regeneration, cerabone\u00ae<\/sup><\/a> was applied. At the final step, NOVAMag\u00ae<\/sup> SHIELD<\/a> was folded over the socket, completely covering the grafting material.
