Small cerabone\u00ae granules were placed around the implants to augment the gaps. A digital impression was taken and based on that a customized healing abutment was milled chairside. Then, the abutment was placed onto the implants. After three to four months, the abutment was removed and a digital impression was taken for preparation of the final prosthesis. The clinical outcomes were evaluated at one and two years post-surgery.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\"><strong>Results<\/strong><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">:<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>&#8211; Uneventful healing for all patients one week after abutment placement<br \/>\n&#8211; Maintenance of the buccal contours over the 2-year follow up period<br \/>\n&#8211; All implants remained successfully in situ over the 2-year follow up period<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\"><strong>Conclusion:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nThe authors summarized that the use of a CAD\/CAM-fabricated healing abutment in immediate implant placement is a viable treatment option for the management of molar extraction sites.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Dr. Gary Finelle<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Finelle G, Sanz-Mart\u00edn I, Knafo B, Figu\u00e9 M, Popelut A.
