Marko Vuletić was born on October 5, 1987 in Sisak,Croatia where he finished elementary school and high school. He enrolled in the undergraduate study of dentistry at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb in 2006, where he graduated in 2012 as the best student in generation. He won the Rector\\\'s Award for original scientific work in 2010, and in 2010 and 2011 he won the Dean\\\'s Award as the most successful student of his generation. Throughout his studies, he was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports for gifted students (A category). After completing his studies in 2012, he began to perform a mandatory internship lasting one year at the Clinic of Dentistry of the University Hospital Clinic Zagreb, and in 2013 he received a license from the competent chamber for independent work. In July 2015, he began a specialization in oral surgery at the Dubrava Clinic Hospital under the mentorship of professor Darko Macan. On January 31, 2019, he passed the specialist exam with an excellent grade and acquired the title of specialist in oral surgery. Since February 1, 2020, he has been working at the Clinical Department of Oral Surgery of the Clinic of Dentistry, University Hospital Clinic Zagreb as oral surgeon. The postgraduate doctoral study enrolls in the academic year 2012/2013. to continue his scientific training, especially in the field of oral surgery. In December 2017, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in the field of oral surgery and obtained the academic degree of Doctor of Science. From March, 2019, he started to work as a postdoctoral associate and research associate and from October 2023, he was elected as Assistant Professor at the Department of Oral Surgery, School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb. Actively participates in clinical teaching in Oral Surgery I and II, Preclinical Oral Surgery, postgraduate teaching in dental implantology at Department of Oral Surgery at the School of Dental Medicine in Zagreb and continuing education courses in dental medicine. He is constantly improving his scientific and professional skills, and he is a participant in numerous domestic and international scientific and professional conferences and an invited lecturer at congresses. He is a member of the Croatian Chamber of Dental Medicine, the Croatian Society for Oral Surgery, the Croatian Society for Dental Implantology and the Croatian Medical Association. He writes and speaks English and German and is the author and co-author of more than 100 scientific, professional and review papers, chapters in books, and conference papers in domestic and foreign journals.
