Prof. Dr. Fromovich is a leading global expert on dental implants and the inventor of many implant systems: Straumann BLX, TLX system, Nobel-Biocare, Nobel active system, Alpha-Bio System, that have influenced the world of implantology for the last 35 years. Prof. Dr. Ophir Fromovich graduated at 1988, after completing is post-graduate in Orthodontic from the Medicine and Pharmacy institute in Bucharest. He is a lecturing Professor at Titu Maiorescu University in Bucharest, Romania. He has received various scientific awards and certificates of excellence for his contribution to academic education and science. His work created a global impact in research in the field of dentistry specifically in dental implants and dental prosthetics. His main research areas are on dental implants and abutment design, tissue regeneration, GBR around dental implants, surface technology and Biomechanics. Prof. Dr. Fromovich has lectured extensively nationally and internationally. He has also conducted many advanced implant and live surgery courses. He has authored and co-authored books and contributed to book chapters in implant dentistry and others scientific publications. His private practice is limited to dental implants and has received several honorary awards for his volunteer work with special need patients.
