Application of cerabone® block - Non-self-tapping system, covering with permamem® – SURGERY

Dr. Pedro Lazaro demonstrates on a pig jaw the use of a cerabone® block for alveolar ridge augmentation.
Dr. Lazaro is an implantologist and periodontist with private practices in Madrid and Barcelona. He is an ITI fellow and active member of the European Association for Osseointegration and European Federation of Periodontology.
The block was fixed directly without hole predrilling. The site was covered by a PTFE membrane (permamem®) before primary wound closure was achieved.
