Dr. Derk Siebers demonstrates the lateral approach and implant placement in one step.
Dr. Siebers is founding member and first Chairman of the Dental Study Group Berlin eV. Since 1991 he maintains a private practice in Berlin and since 2003 he is specialist in implantology of the German Society for Dental, Oral and Orthodontic Implantology (DGI).
After preparation of the lateral sinus window, the sinus floor is augmented with cerabone® granules,subsequently an implant is inserted. The prepared bone window is repositioned and the osteotomy site, covered by Jason® membrane and PRGF, and sutured to achieve primary wound closure.
