Stavros Pelekanos
Dr. Pelekanos discusses horizontal and vertical bone augmentation procedures with special focus on the use and features of different types of barrier membranes. Dr. Pelekanos holds a doctoral degree in Prosthodontics and was appointed full-time lecturer at the Department of Prosthodontics, Dental School at University of Athens, Greece. He has established a private practice in Athens, oriented towards prosthodontics, implantology and esthetic dentistry. During the webinar he presents his experience with the PTFE membrane permamem® in different indications such as one-stage implant procedures and ridge augmentation for later implant placement. The membrane’s handling, methods for fixation and its use with bone grafting materials like cerabone® are discussed with the help of case presentations.
