Prof. Olga Cvijanović Peloza is a Full Professor at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Anatomy. Her research focuses on bone regeneration, biomaterials, and translational approaches in regenerative medicine.

She obtained her PhD in biomedical sciences and has built an extensive academic career in anatomy and tissue biology. Her scientific work is centered on the evaluation of regenerative biomaterials, including xenografts, synthetic substitutes, and novel bioactive materials, with a strong emphasis on bone healing and tissue response.

Prof. Cvijanović Peloza is actively involved in interdisciplinary research combining histology, histomorphometry, immunohistochemistry, and micro-CT analysis to assess biomaterial performance. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and contributes to international collaborations advancing the development and clinical application of biomaterials in hard tissue regeneration.
