Dr Yusuf Alshafi is actively involved in postgraduate education and is an experienced teacher in implant dentistry and oral surgery through structured programmes, hands-on surgical courses and clinical mentoring. He is a regular contributor to professional publications and clinical literature within the field of implant dentistry and is committed to advancing evidence-based practice. He graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute in 2007 and completed an MSc in Dental Implants in 2018. He undertook hospital training as a Senior House Officer in Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry at Guy’s Hospital and obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. His academic and teaching work is informed by a broad clinical background encompassing advanced implant and surgical procedures.
