Dr. Kalenchuk demonstrates the application of different biomaterials for extended bone augmentation in the posterior maxilla.
Dr. Kalenchuk is founder and clinical chief of the implant center “Implantiss Institute”. He was Head of the Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the Regional center in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. Dr. Kalenchuk is author of numerous articles, lectures and workshops on dental implantation and tissue regeneration.
Following the closure of the subantral perforation with Jason® membrane, the Schneiderian membrane perforation was covered by collprotect® membrane. Then, the sinus cavity and the buccal aspect was grafted with large cerabone® granules, and the site was covered by permamem®. A final radiograph confirms the stability of the augmented area.
