Soft tissue guided implant therapy

The main topics of the event:
– Work with soft tissues using immediate implantation protocols and immediate load.
– Work with soft tissues when working with implants according to the classic two-stage protocol.
– Augmentation of keratinized gums before, during and after implant placement.
– Soft tissue augmentation techniques around implants using autologous connective tissue grafts, as well as biomaterials.

Learning objectives
1. Describe step by step the free gingival graft procedure to increase keratinized mucosa height before or after implant placement
2. Describe the surgical procedure combining transmucosal implant placement and simultaneous submarginal connective tissue graft
3. Describe step by step harvesting technique

The aim of the lecture is to describe step by step this new combined surgical and restorative procedure for the treatment of soft tissue defects around implants. The use of a promising porcine acellular dermal matrix for peri-implant soft tissue management will also be described.
