Dr. Fontana demonstrates the removal of a failing tooth in the posterior mandible with subsequent implant placement and peri-implant bone augmentation with cerabone® +HyA.
Following granulation tissue removal two dental implants were placed, one into the fresh extraction site and another one mesially in the pre-existing tooth gap. The immediate implant appeared with surrounding bone volume missing, which was augmented with cerabone® +HyA in a quick and efficient manner. Suturing was performed finally to achieve primary wound closure.
