Dr. Stavros Pelekanos demonstrates the removal of permamem® after bone augmentation in the posterior maxilla.

Dr. Pelekanos holds a doctoral degree in Prosthodontics and was appointed full-time lecturer at the Department of Prosthodontics, Dental School at University of Athens, Greece. He has established a private practice in Athens, oriented towards prosthodontics, implantology and esthetic dentistry.

After flap elevation, exposed permamem® was removed following removal of the pins. Three implants were placed and bore core was harvested for histological analysis. Finally, the flap was closed tension-free.
