Vestibuloplasty with mucoderm® on pig jaw – SURGERY
Prof. Rothamel shows vestibuloplasty on a pig jaw model -a technique often used in periimplant surgery to widen the vestibule. In his surgical video, he presents the preparation of a mucosal flap followed by the fixation of the hydrated mucoderm® to the periosteum.
Prof. Rothamel is Head of the Department, Oral and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery at the Johanniter Hospital Bethesda Mönchengladbach, Germany and is Associate Professor at the Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf, Germany.
