IDS 2025: botiss with real innovations in the field of biomaterials

At IDS 2025 Dr. Benno Buchbinder (Managing Director Markets of botiss biomaterials GmbH) presented our latest innovations for dental regeneration. Today, the combination of bone replacement materials with biological substances goes far beyond the use of autologous blood or bone. Hyaluronic acid is increasingly being used to accelerate bone and soft tissue regeneration. botiss is therefore focusing on a combination of all products with hyaluronic acid, with significantly improved handling (“sticky bone”). Following the great success of cerabone® plus HyA with a 99.7% success rate, botiss is expanding its range in 2025. At the request of many users, maxgraft®+Hya, a combination of allogenic maxgraft® granules and hyaluronic acid, is now being launched on the market. Particularly practical: maxgraft®+Hya is also available as a fine bone powder (appr 0.25 mm) that can be applied with a Luersyringe. https://botiss.com/product/maxgraft-hya With the NOVAMag® SHIELD, botiss is launching a new, revolutionary solution for bone defects after tooth extractions. Until now, socket preservation has only stabilized the damaged alveolar area. NOVAMag® SHIELD goes much further: it is stable, biodegradable, supports natural healing and ensures new bone formation also outside of the existing contour. The magnesium shield is easy to adapt and can be used in a minimally invasive way – without fixation to the bone.Depending on the treatment plan, it can be combined with various bone replacement materials. The product is also particularly suitable for patients in whom no implant is placed in the defect. It offers a simple and economical way of preserving the jawbone. In combination with stable bone replacement materials such as cerabone® plus, it can even slow down bone loss in denture wearers.
