3D-model of a biopsy of a cerabone®-grafted site

A bone core of a previously augmented sinus floor was harvested four months post-operative and analyzed histologically and histomorphometrically. Grafting of the sinus maxillaries was performed using cerabone® granules. The obtained biopsy was scanned with a microtomograph with a nominal resolution of 5 μm along the three spatial planes (axial, coronal and sagittal), and finally, a three-dimensional model was drawn.
