Dragana Rakasevic graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Belgrade, Serbia, in 2011. In 2017, she earned a PhD in the field peri-implantitis treatment and photodynamic therapy. In 2018, she specialized periodontology and oral medicine at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Belgrade, where she also participated in teaching and training students. In 2022, she was awarded with international team of Implantology (ITI) Scholarship in Spain (2022/2023) at Department of Periodontology, Complutense University of Madrid, and Santiago de Compostela University. Currently, she works as a Research Assistant in Implant and Research Centre, School of Dental Medicine, University of Belgrade, and as visiting Professor and Researcher at Department of Periodontology, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The author and co-author of many national and international research papers, lecturer in scientific meetings, such as ITI World Symposium, SADA, EuroPerio, WFLD, AO, and EAO congresses, Serbian symposium of Oral Surgeons and Implantologists, BASS Congress. Dr Rakasevic is a member of international team for Implantology (ITI), European Federation of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration (AO), European Association for Osseointegration (EAO), and the Women Implantology Network, WIN.

• She is ITI Fellow and Society Representatives of World Federation for Laser Dentistry (2025-present).
