In this video, Prof. Antonio Barone demonstrates the use of the fully resorbable magnesium NOVAMag® fixation system. After shaping and predrilling, the NOVAMag® membrane is fixated using NOVAMag® fixation screws XS. The screws are inserted with the NOVAMag® connector, a single-patient-use device, made from high-quality medical-grade PEEK. In the end, the NOVAMag® connector is disengaged from the screw.
Prof. Antonio Barone is Associate Professor, Head of Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry at the Department of Surgical, Medical, Molecular and of the Critical Area Pathologies at the University Hospital of Pisa, Italy.
