Andrea Scrascia

Dr. Scrasia presents different approaches for soft tissue management during GBR and for the treatment of gingival recessions.

Dr. Scrasia earned his PhD at the La Sapienza University, Rome on an experimental study on biomaterials used for implant-prosthetic rehabilitations. He is an active member of multiple associations such as the Italian Society of Oral Surgery and Implantology. Dr. Scrasia is author of more than 70 scientific publications.

In this webinar, Dr. Scrasia discusses the clinical parameters and the choice for different surgical techniques with autologous and heterologous materials, such as mucoderm®, to treat soft tissue defects around implants and natural teeth. He also demonstrates the treatment of periimplant bone defects using different types of bone grafting materials such as maxresorb®.
