Charalampos (Harry) Apostolidis studied Dentistry at the University of Athens, Greece, receiving his DDS degree in 1991. He completed a four-year surgical residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University- New England Medical Center, Boston Medical Center and Boston University in Boston, MA, USA, from July 1994 to June 1998. He also completed a fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology in the Greek Anticancer Institute Hospital, where he also subsequently worked, from 1998 to 2008.Dr. Apostolidis is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Hellenic Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Fellow of the International Team for Implantology. He is currently the chairman of the Greece and Cyprus ITI Section. Dr. Apostolidis is engaged with the full scope of the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His main interests are dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant surgery, hard and soft tissue grafting for the reconstruction of the alveolar ridges, facial trauma, head and neck tumor surgery and orthognathic surgery. He lectures in various scientific events, mainly on the topic of implant surgery, reconstruction of deficient alveolar ridges and oncological head and neck surgery. Dr. Apostolidis works in Athens, Greece, where he has a practice limited to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is the director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department in the "Hygeias Melathron" Hospital, Athens, Greece from 2002 to present.
