PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

• Endosseous dental implants have been used successfully for decades to replace missing teeth or teeth with poor prognosis. As long as the implants are inserted following a 3D prosthetic driven direction and surrounded by a minimum volume of bone matrix the implant treatment can be safely considered long-lasting.
• Treatment options for bone and soft tissue deficiencies have long been associated with autogenous tissue transplantation. While the introduction of substitutes has already drastically reduced mordibity for the patients, several disadvantages such as impaired mechanical stabilization of the augmented area or the necessity of removal of more solid structures have remained.
• The recent introduction of magnesium based solutions (NOVAMag^®) has led to a breakthrough, providing significant extraordinary improvements in terms of clinical application, tissue interaction as well as biological function
