Dr. Reto Morger
A 44-year-old female patient presented for implant-prosthetic treatment in the third and fourth quadrant. Since the area had not been restored for more than 20 years, an extensive horizontal and vertical augmentation was required prior to implant placement. The mandible bone was reconstructed using two maxgraft® bonebuilder blocks. The customized allogenic bone blocks fitted perfectly and were covered with a Jason® membrane. After 6 months healing time implants were installed at position 35/36 and 46. 1 year follow up shows good stable clinical outcome.
