– Workshops at the ITI Congress South East Asia
Sunday, 31th March: 09:00 – 11:00 & 12:00 – 14:00 (second slot is already fully booked)
Successful dental implant placement depends on healthy hard and soft tissue conditions. Deficient tissues can be augmented using the patient’s own tissue or artificial grafting materials, serving as a guiding structure for the regeneration of defects. Whereas autogenous bone is considered as gold standard for various bone defect morphologies, the use of bone substitute materials has also shown predictable results in many indications. Used alone or in combination with autogenous bone, biomaterials are able to reduce or even exclude donor site morbidity and reduce the perioperative stress of dental implant treatment.
Nowadays, soft tissue replacement materials are expanding the indications for artificial grafting materials even to soft tissue indications such as vestibuloplasty, recession coverage and soft tissue thickening around teeth and implants. Depending on the defect´s shape, careful selection of different grafting materials and techniques should be aimed to achieve the best and least-invasive regeneration outcome.
Within the workshop, easy and advanced grafting procedures using botiss biomaterials products will be discussed and also performed.
