SURGERY
This surgical video presents a clinical case of periimplantitis. Initially, the affected area underwent thorough mechanical debridement and cleaning to decontaminate the tissues surrounding the implants. Afterwards, NOVAMag® membrane was precisely cut and shaped to fit the defect site. The membrane was then carefully positioned and fixed on the buccal side to ensure optimal coverage and stability. This procedure aimed to facilitate bone regeneration and maintain the structural integrity of the area. After a healing period of six months, the video demonstrates the stable state of the treated site.
NOVAMag® membrane is made from pure magnesium metal and is completely resorbable. It is also characterized by exceptional strength during the critial healing phase and can withstand the pressure of the soft tissue, providing space for the bone graft.
