David Botond Hangyasi
Dr. Hangyási shares in this webinar his experience in socket preservation with different materials. A special focus lies on his first experiences with collacone® max and mucoderm® punch.
Dr. Hangyási is a periodontist running a private practice in Hungary (Hódmezővásárhely) and is a part-time lecturer at the Department of Periodontology at the University of Szeged since 2007. Between 2013 and 2014, he temporarily served as Acting Head of Department. Since 2015, he is an Academic Contributor at the Department and a board member of the Hungarian Association of Periodontology.
Reducing bone loss and soft tissue collapse are the main goals after tooth extraction nowadays. Dr. Hangyási describes his socket preservation methods for hopeless teeth. He thereby explains the classification for tooth progress after extraction and the procedures to stop the resorption of the socket. In his preservation protocols, he outlines different filling materials such as maxresorb® and cerabone® and membranes for coverage such as Jason® membrane and mucoderm®. Moreover, he focuses on his first experiences with collacone® max and mucoderm® punch including their properties and advantages.
