Shell technique with maxgraft® cortico
maxgraft® cortico is a prefabricated human bone strut from acellular cortical bone from the femur diaphysis that can be used for the shell technique. The concept of the shell technique is the preparation of a biological container, which creates the necessary space for the full incorporation of particulate bone grafting material to rebuild new bone for dental implant placement.
As particulate bone grafting material xenogeneic (e.g., cerabone®), allogeneic (e.g., maxgraft® granules) or autologous bone can be used.
