The postgraduate educational five–day course (sponsored by botiss and Straumann Hungary) will focus on the theory and practice of periodontal and peri–implant hard and soft tissue management techniques. Participants will receive up–to–date knowledge on treatment concepts enriched by numerous clinical tricks to meet the treatment needs of your daily routine in the practice. Lectures, seminars, hands–ons, live surgeries with opportunity to assist will enable you to expand your knowledge on periodontal and peri–implant surgical techniques. The course is in English.
Program
Monday: Periodontal treatment planning, the “Bernese concept”, non-surgical therapy. Live surgeries. Hands-on course: periodontal pocket surgeries.
Tuesday: Treatment of mucogingival disorders, treatment of gingival hyperplasia and up-to-date protocols for gingival recession coverage and keratinized gingiva augmentation. Live surgeries. Hand-on course: periodontal plastic surgeries..
Wednesday: Peri-implant soft tissue management. vestibuloplasty procedures and augmentation of keratinized tissues. Live surgeries. Hands-on: Augmentation of peri-implant keratinized mucosa.
Thursday: Alveolar ridge preservation techniques in the clinical practice, state of the art and innovative methods. Treatment concepts of furcation defects. Live surgeries: alveolar ridge preservation techniques.
Friday: Complex rehabilitation of periodontal patients with dental implant. Current guidelines. Surgeries: immediate implant placement and immediate provisionals. Supportive periodontal and implant therapy.
