Dr. Dávid Botond Hangyási received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2007 at the University of Szeged, Faculty of Dentistry. He completed his postgraduate training and earned the degree of Specialist in Periodontology. He runs a private practice in Hungary (Hódmezővásárhely) and is a part time lecturer at the Department of Periodontology at the University of Szeged since 2007. Between 2013 and 2014, he temporarily served as Acting Head of Department. Since 2015, he is an Academic Contributor at the Department and a board member of the Hungarian Association of Periodontology. He is providing numerous international and national lectures and courses in the field of periodontology and implant dentistry. His fields of interest are non-surgical periodontal therapy, periodontal plastic surgery and hard and soft tissue management in dental implantology.
